Folks!
I am in St. Petersburg Florida right now, sitting in bed, watching the Weather channel and eating some bacon and eggs. Life doesn't get any better than this for someone who has been on 10 airplanes in the last 5 days. I feel like I haven't been on dear old Amtam in so long. For this, I apologize. I suddenly woke up this morning and missed my PG-13 home. The tour has been going great- a few duds but overall, everything has been incredible. My favorite show so far has to have been Prarie Lights in Iowa City. That place has a great feel- the entire city. Lots of writers there, interesting people at every turn. I'm reading a lot of great scripts for upcoming projects, we'll see which ones actually come to fruition. I've decided to return to some of of my old roots... deeper studies of the human spirit: Stephanie Daley, Joan. I want to do films that are affective, not just entertainment. So that's what I've got my Eagle eyes looking out for. And lastly, about the blogs... I wanted to let you know that I've been hired to write for the Poetry Foundation for a couple of months, to document my tour and just, write. I do them bi-monthly, so around the 1st and the 15th of every month. It's pretty funny to experience for the first time, the kind of trolls on a mega-academic website like Poetry Foundation (you'll see what I mean when you read the comments. Feel free to sign up and add your own). It reminds me of the good old AMTAM days, when Joan of Arcadia was in it's prime and Mercy and Shawnee were running around the forums with a proverbial fly swatter and squirt gun. Anyway, here they are. WARNING: There is some explicit language on these posts. Not a lot- a cuss word here or there- but I just wanted to put this up before posting the link. Look up posts under Amber Tamblyn: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/harriet/ lots of love, Amber |

Amber,
When you come back how about doing something group-wise like writing a collaborative poem? Pick a subject, get us started, and see what happens. |

I happy to here you going through a lot of scripts. If you can even get a couple like Stephanie Daley (Some channels titled it "What She Knew" I do not no why. Or Joan or even Blackout it was wierd but really deep and emotional.
Glad your trip is going well.Airplane are not the most comfortable ways to travel.I went to Italy then Germany with layover in Amsterdam and the home and that was a tiring trip.Hope to see a lot more of you, looking for something around March you do a live appearance so I can come out and see the show.Have a great and adventurous rest of your tour.Hope all you exspectation come to pass. Peace be with you,be safe. Amber's #1 TEXAS Fan, David |

I hope your stay there was enjoyable. I missed your work on TV. Joan should have gone on for aanother 2 seasons at least. I wanted to know how the story would be finished. I know doing it again would be a step backward but did they let you know at all how the series was going to play out? |
